We appreciate your interest in a career with One Source. One Source is a great place to build a career! After you submit your application, here is how the recruiting process works:
Human Resources Reviews All Applications
While some companies have a computer that sorts through applications and filters applicants based on set criteria, live humans review every application that is submitted through the One Source application system. We value your interest in One Source and the time that you took to share your information with us. We want to assure you that it is reviewed carefully. Our Human Resources team initially reviews all applications to determine which applications will be shared with hiring managers.
Interested in more than one position? Don’t worry, although our system currently allows selection of one position, our team will share your application with all hiring managers that have an open position that may fit your skills and experience.
Hiring Managers Review Applications
Hiring managers review all applications they receive from our Human Resources team. After considering all applications, managers select applicants who seem most likely to be a fit with the open position for initial phone screens. Our Human Resources team will schedule phone interviews with those applicants at a time that is convenient for the applicant and the manager.
Please note that the timeframe from application to contact by One Source Human Resources can vary widely depending on company and department needs, and contact times may vary in the steps below as well.
Initial Phone Interview
This is a time for the hiring manager to ask questions based on information provided in the application as well as a time for applicants to ask questions to learn more about One Source and the open position. Phone interviews usually last about thirty minutes.
First Face to Face Interview
Hiring managers generally select 3-6 applicants from the phone interview process and invite them to visit One Source to meet in person. The first face to face interview may include a member of our Human Resources team and may also include managers from other departments with open positions. First interviews usually last 30-60 minutes.
Second Face to Face Interview
Hiring managers usually select 1-3 applicants from the first interview process and invite them to return to One Source for a second interview. A director will also participate in this phase of the interview process. The format for the first portion of this interview is a discussion meeting. During the second portion, the applicant may be given the opportunity to sit with members of the team to get an idea of what it would be like to do the job from someone who is doing it. We ask applicants to be available for up to two hours for second interviews.
Offer of Employment
Based on the second interview, we select one applicant and extend an offer to join our team. We’re excited about having you join us! The hiring manger will call you to let you know that we would like to extend an offer, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions about the offer or employment details at that time. You will then receive a follow up email from our Human Resources team with your offer.
Congratulations! There will be a few things to do in preparation for your first day. You will receive a welcome email with instructions from our Human Resources team one week before your first day. Your hiring manager and our Human Resources team will also be available to answer any questions before your first day. Just let us know how we can help you. We’re excited to have you on the team!
